The Annual Salute to Seniors event is celebrating its 25th anniversary in Denver, Colorado this month. This event promises to be educational, fun and a great experience for senior adults and their families. Hosted by the Colorado Gerontological Society, the Annual Salute to Seniors is the largest senior-focused event in the state and best of all, admission is free. Here are just a few of the activities you can enjoy at this year’s event:
- Live bands featuring music from the 1960s and 1970s
- 1960s era car show and an old time music room
- Bingo throughout the day
- Tons of prizes, giveaways and freebies
- Educational exhibits on hot topics including dementia care
- Guest speakers and vendors
Home Care Assistance of Centennial is a proud member of the Colorado Gerontological Society and will be on-site at the fair all day to answer your questions about senior nutrition, health and wellness, in-home care and more. You can even contact us if you or an aging parent or loved one is interested in attending the event and needs accompaniment to ensure safety and maximize comfort. Along with reliable transportation and accompaniment for social events, errands and medical appointments, our highly trained caregivers can also help with household chores, personal care and medication reminders.
